With the continuous development of the large-scale breeding industry, how to manage the breeding farm with a small number of workers, master advanced livestock and poultry breeding management methods, and upgrade the breeding farm has become an inevitable path. To build a smart livestock farm, it is necessary to start from the control of various parameters of the farm, that is, the livestock and poultry breeding monitoring system.

Livestock farm: The livestock and poultry breeding monitoring system integrates Internet of Things, Internet and other technologies. Based on real-time acquisition of information on the breeding environment, the status of livestock and poultry, and various management equipment/environment, it intelligently regulates various equipment in the breeding farm, adjusts temperature control, and detects the health status of livestock and poultry to ensure the stability of the growth environment of livestock and poultry.

Functions of the livestock and poultry breeding monitoring system

Temperature and humidity control: Implement the control of temperature and humidity in the breeding environment, especially for chicken farms that are more sensitive to temperature and humidity. The temperature inside the chicken coop should be maintained at 18℃ to 23℃, and the minimum should not be lower than 15℃. According to this temperature regulation requirement, when the temperature and humidity sensor detects that the temperature of a certain chicken house is 14 degrees Celsius, the heating equipment bound to the chicken house will be automatically activated to continuously heat up to 23 degrees Celsius, and then the heating equipment will be automatically turned off. Similarly, by dividing the breeding farm into multiple monitoring points, the temperature and humidity in each chicken house can be flexibly regulated to meet the growth needs of the chicken flock at different stages such as brooding, fattening and egg-laying.

Air quality regulation

One common problem in livestock farms is air quality. Due to the long-term accumulation of livestock manure, sweat and other substances, harmful gases such as hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, hydrogen and methane are produced, which affect the growth rate of livestock. Similar to the temperature and humidity control function, a large number of various types of gas sensors are used to obtain the gas quality parameters of the breeding farm. Start and stop the window openers, ventilators and other air exchange equipment in the breeding farm in a coordinated manner to prevent adverse effects on human health and livestock caused by the accumulation of harmful gases.
